ABC Experts is a woman-owned practice. I started it because I wanted to offer a higher class of service than I saw elsewhere in this profession — more time with each client, more detail in each report, and a willingness to sit with someone through what is usually the largest purchase of their life until they genuinely understand it.

People ask me: do I really need someone to check the property?

Yes. And not only for what is wrong today.

My reports cover the technical condition — structure, moisture, roof, services, the twelve areas — but they also set out life-cycle cost estimates over ten years: when the roof, the windows, the heating and the façade will need money, and roughly how much. That turns a purchase decision into a plan. Buyers use it to negotiate; owners use it to budget; nobody is surprised five winters later.

Beyond the survey, I can quote renovations, draw plans and help you turn a property you have bought into the one you actually wanted. Some clients come to me once, before signing. Others keep me for years, through the works and the first refurbishment.

I am a hands-on surveyor and always have been — usually the first one up the ladder, into the roof space, behind the panel, cross-checking with a second instrument before anything goes into writing. That is not for show. It is the only way to hand someone results they can rely on.

And I work exclusively for buyers and owners. Never for the seller, never for the contractor whose work I am assessing — no commissions, no referral fees, no arrangement that would make it easier to write a comfortable sentence than a true one.
